Pizza Restaurants in Sopot

Pizza in Sopot is surprisingly good, and not just the kind you grab for a quick snack. Some places take it seriously, with thin, crispy crusts and fresh toppings that remind me of Naples, or sometimes just satisfy that late-night hunger after a stroll down the pier.

One spot I keep coming back to is Mamma Mia on Bohaterów Monte Cassino. It’s small and casual but don’t let that fool you, the wood-fired pizzas there have a perfect char and a chew that’s just right. Grab a seat outside if it’s sunny, because people-watching here is half the fun.

If you want something cozy and a bit off the main strip, try the pizza at Pizzeria Góralska. They add a slight twist with local cheeses and herbs, lending a real Sopot touch to the classic pie. Also, pizza by the sea is a thing here, grab your slice to go and walk along Sopot Beach, especially in early evening when the light hits just right.

Tip: If you’re visiting in summer, avoid peak dinner hours unless you want to end up sharing a table. And yes, some places don’t take reservations, so showing up hungry and early can pay off big time.

In-the-know pizza advice

Here’s a quick heads-up for your pizza hunt in Sopot: don’t just stick to Monte Cassino. Walk a few blocks inland or towards the marina and you’ll find quieter, equally tasty spots where locals eat. For example, Pizzeria Góralska, a bit hidden but loved for its unique toppings and friendly vibe. Also, try getting a pizza with boscaiola or local smoked cheese,it’s something I always order here and yeah, it’s a good call.

And if you’re visiting in colder months, some pizzerias have cozy fireplaces or heaters outside, so dining al fresco can be surprisingly pleasant.
