Located 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Gdansk near the town of Sztutowo, the Stutthof Concentration Camp was the first camp established in Poland by the Nazis in 1939 and the last to be liberated in 1945. Situated in a secluded, wooded area, Stutthof witnessed the deportation of up to 110,000 people, with 85,000 victims of genocide.
